Party at Mcdonalds!

After playing with tennis with Vanna, we went over to Mcdonalds and played in the playland!
Vanna is now taller that the sign!
 Me in the tube
I love how the tube effects the color of the pictures!
 Going down the slide . . .

Thanks for being my crazy friend, Vanna!

MCXC: @ Roy

Roy's course is mainly on grass, which is what made it so hard.
I didn't PR, but I didn't get a worse time. I actually got the same exact time as Box Elder.
25:29!
I love our pre-race spirit! Right before every race, we cheer like crazy, scream,
stretch, and Tebow for our captain as she gives us a speech.

During my races, my mom mistakes me for one of the coolest seniors.
We both have long blonde hair, cool ponytail ribbons, and we are usually really close in time.
We are both in this picture, I'm the one running in the middle, and she is the one in front.
I love XC, (mostly) every runner is so stink'n nice!
As you are running, you hear so many runners cheering each other on as well as the people on the sides. Once I was done running, I started talking to a bobcat about the course. She did really good! :D
Me and Cowboy Jakey afer the race.
He is Vanna's bestie. Me, Mallory, Vanna, and Jake are like a possy!
Because my mom is one of the photographers for the XC meets, my mom lets me take the camera through the huge crowds of Mustangs to get pictures. In this one, I wanted to get a picture of Aud, but her brother that my friends are fakely obsessed with, jumped in the way. (he's like a celeb to my group of friends, We see him walking down the halls at school and scream, "Ahhhh! It's Holden!" We have even gotten his autograph!) :D
 My Groupy :D
Aneisa, Mallory, Sammy, Me, and Lindsey
 Cowboy Jakey, Aud, and me

As we were walking back to the bus, Jake waved to my mom. . . with the camera. And my mom yelled, "Bye Bob!" Let's just say that my new nick-name is Bob-burrito. . .  thanks to Jake.

Best Weekend Ever!

The best weekend began when me and Savanna went to the football game and
Vanna's friend told us that he was on the robotics team.
He had to film the game, so he went to the top of the school.
And he invited us to go up there with him! Cowboy Jakey, you are the best!
After the game, me and Vanna helped pack his stuff to his car, and we went home to sleep for 4 hours to wake up, and help out with the TOU Marathon. We met at the school at 5:00 am to carpool up the canyon to set up a water station. We were up before the sun! It was cold and I am so grateful that Jake had a car full of blankets and jackets. Savanna brought a jump rope, camera, sidewalk chalk, and food. Thank goodness. We found joy in the chalk as soon as she pulled it out. We wrote kind encouraging messages on the road for the lovely runners and drew amazing pictures.
And a "Jail for Jake" (as the road says)
And once we were done with the marathon, we pulled into the school parking lot, and Mallory asked, "Okay, our house for breakfast or Einstein Bagels?" We voted bagels and drove into town. Cowboy Jakey bought a bucket of bagels for us to share and Vanna pulled out her camera.
Me struggling to cut a bagel.
 Jake looking through his bagel.
 Vanna . . . sitting there.
 Mallory looking just lovely!
Mallory, Jake, and I lounging by the car
Because we didn't get lots of sleep, we were all pretty loopy.
Me and Mallory decided to be dogs and stick our heads out of the car window.
My hair was blowing around like crazy!
And while me and Mallory stuck our heads out the window,
Jake was driving/dancing to the music, and Vanna was placing Nilla Wafers on Jake's shoulders.
After our breakfast party, we went home and then reassembled later that evening at Jake and Mallory's house for dinner/movie party. We had yummy hamburgers, partied on the playground, and watched Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. That was the most fun I've had all school year so far! Thanks Jake, Mallory, and Vanna for giving me a fun time!

MCXC: Box Elder

This course was my best race so far!
My time was 25:29. I PRed on a longer course!
The course in Murray was only 3 miles, and this one was a 5k.
It was such a pretty place to run!

MCXC: Murray

This race was the qualifying race for Boise.
If we were in the top 23 girls or 23 boys, we could go to Boise.
I didn't make the cut, but I beat my PR. (Personal Record)
My time was 25:38.
The coaches told us to put the times that we wanted on our hands.
I put 25:03 thinking I could get it, but I was close.
Next year for sure!

MCXC: Home meet!

The starting line
I love our team! We are huge, insane with cheers, and always awesome!
Our home meet is the hardest race course in Utah because of all the insane hills.
In the course we have to run up and down the Cemetary hill many times. I have come up with a conclusion to why the cemetary is on this hill. When you are done runnning, you can lay down and die! These hills are so killer!

For this race my time was 27:12

MCXC: American Fork Grass Relays

My first ever XC meet!
It was only a one mile track that we had to loop twice.
My time was 16:09!
This is Erica, me, and Aud cheering on the runners.
 Michael, and Erica
And the bus ride home was a party. Me and Aud took pictures
with our awesome sunglasses, and Joshy got jealous.
 He tried on Sammy's glasses. . .
 . . . Audrey's glasses. . .
 . . . And mine. . .
