MCXC: Cache Box

Cache Box XC meet 2012
I totally slaughtered this race! 23:40!!
My best time ever! Total PR!
Not to brag, but look at my muscles! that's kinda insane!
I love my coaches. I'm so blessed to be pushed so hard!
I love hearing other teams that are scared by Claud.
On the bus ride over there, Cowboy Jakey told me that he was going to die during the race because he forgot his inhaler. Thinking that it was all a joke, I said, "Well, I'll have my camera to take pictures of you dieing!" When I was taking the pictures during the boys race, I saw him and yell, "Go Jake! You aren't dead yet, keep running!" Once I shot the last stang, I ran up to the finish line to see Jake on the ground struggling for breath. All I could think was, "I told him to die and he is dead!!!" Scariest thing that can happen at a meet! Don't worry, He was fine.
Later when we were on the bus, he was texting Vanna, and he told her what happened. And she freaked out. He turned to me and said, "I don't know what to say to her. . . tell her that you had to take me to the ER!" He handed me his phone and I texted Savanna and told her that he wouldn't breath and that he was hooked up to a respirator. She immediately called me and I played it very well. I didn't even laugh even though Jake was laughing his head off. Finally, once I knew that Vanna was very scared, I turned to Jake and told him to tell her the truth. He grabbed the phone and said, "Savanna, what if I told you this was fake?" :D
Dearest Vanna, I'm so sorry!

After the meet, we came home and ran in the homecoming parade.
I ran my butt off at the meet, then came home to people on floats that were telling me to run faster! Ugh, I'd like to see them run as hard as I had run earlier!
Me and Sammy running down the street.
The baseball players pelted us with candy. Talk about welts.
We had originally planned to hop on a float to get back up to the school, but once we got to the end of the parade, there wasn't room to hop on one so we had to run all the way back up. I had ran a total of about 7 miles that day. Once I got back up to the school, I tried to find Vanna, Jake, and Mallory to go to the Powder Puff game. I was so tired. At least I got a good night sleep! :)
